In order for the team at HRA to properly service a bent axle, they first tear down the axle to a bare housing and afterwards apply a lathe to the component.  Our experts will straighten the tubes if they are bent. While on the lathe, the damaged spindle end is cut off. A new replacement spindle end built in-house is welded on to the component, completing the repair process.

What is a repaired axle assembly?

There is a lot of work involved that goes into getting a rear axle repaired for use on the road again.  The ring & pinion, bearing set, axle shafts, and rotors are removed from the rear end leaving a bare housing.  Following that, the team at HRA applies on a lathe and either uses a used OEM ring and pinion set that meets factory specifications or a new set if it is not available. The axle will then be cleaned, followed by checking up on the existing bearing and axle shafts.  Finally, the axle is reassembled, painted, filled with fluid, and ready to be installed.
